A Conversation about Genealogy and Memoir

In conjunction with the Pownal Historical Society, Elizabeth Winthrop will be talking about her search for Addie, the little girl who inspired her novel, Counting on Grace and how that led to her memoir, Daughter of Spies: Wartime Secrets, Family Lies. Elizabeth will be in conversation with Cornelia Gilder, Berkshire author of Edith Wharton's Lenox among others.  Books will be available in the Ventfort Hall gift shop. Admission is $45, $40 for members or with advance reservation, $22 for students 22 and under. Event begins at 4:00 PM
